Doug Howard is a bassist, vocalist and songwriter. He is best known for his work as a performing/recording musician and occasional co-writer with groups, and artists such as Touch, Stun Leer, Todd Rundgren, Utopia and The Edgar Winter Group. Doug’s touring credits also notably contain his part as the singing narrator “Songster” for the international touring company of The Masters of The Universe, wherein he gave 19 consecutive sold out performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York City in 10 days, a house attendance record still standing today. Aside from his performing credits, Doug has worked as a session musician, singer and producer on various side projects, sound tracks and commercial jingles over the years. |
Rhett Tyler, guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, and producer, is best known for his explosive style of scorching modern blues guitar and high-octane, house-rocking live performances. He has also shared billing with many distinguished blues artists, including Johnny Winter, Lonnie Brooks, Elvin Bishop, Delbert McClinton, and John Hammond. He performs both with his band, Early Warning, as a power trio (guitar, bass, and drums) and as a solo artist on the acoustic 12-string (along with his harmonica). |
Patrick Stanfield Jones has been singing and playing guitar and other sundry instruments professionally since the ripe old age of 14. With gigs ranging from dives to major concert halls, he’s shared stages with the likes of Buddy Miles, Taj Mahal and Kenny Rankin, performed in national theater tours for Jesus Christ Superstar and Oh! Calcutta!, and has also performed in both jazz and classical arenas. |

Mark Marshall spent over 20 years on the New York scene, singing or playing guitar / keyboards on studio and live dates by various artists, including Amy Coleman, Abby Straus, rock and roll gospel choir New Voices of Freedom and many, many others. He has two albums under his belt, and is working on a third. Mark is also the producer and co-host of The Expert Witness Radio Show, which has been broadcasting on WBAI, the flagship station of the Pacifica Radio network, for well over a decade. |
Peter Buettner is a veteran saxophonist, having recorded and performed with acts as diverse as The Felice Brothers, Titus Andronicus, Marilyn Crispell, Baird Hersey, Angelyna Martinez, the Duke & the King, Afire, Gartdrumm/Orchid, Blue Food and many many others. |
Dave Keyes has been a mainstay on the New York music scene for over 20 years, playing with some of the most important figures of blues, roots and folk music. This varied musical journey started in the spiritual Southern sounds of blues, soul and classic boogie-woogie, and continues through Dave’s recent CD’s and his vibrant soulful live shows. Over the last 10 years, Dave worked with the late great Odetta and played on many of her last shows most notably the 50th Anniversary McCabes concert at UCLA, in Oct. ’08 and her appearance before tens of thousands at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Fest in Golden Gate Park. Dave has also worked as sideman for a who’s who of roots music masters, such as Bo Diddley, Sleepy La Beef, Big Jay McNeely, Eddy Clearwater, Tracy Nelson, Wayne and Ronnie Baker Brooks, and the late Ruth Brown, in addition to accompanying such diverse artists as Gladys Knight, Pam Tillis, David Johansen, Over the last decade Dave has worked in many roles as a band leader and Conductor for both Broadway shows and TV, most notably conducting over 600 performances during the six year run of the Grammy winning Broadway musical smash SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE. Since then, he’s conducted and performed in the orchestras of Broadway musicals LENNON, URBAN COWBOY and the Earth Wind & Fire inspired HOT FEET. |

King, Chuck Jackson, The Coasters, Joe Simon, Joe Tex, Sam and Dave, Buster Brown, Jackie Wilson, James Brown, the Mamma Lu Parks Dancers, Baby Washington, and The Moments aka Ray, Goodman, and Brown, and has played and recorded with Jimi Hendrix. |
